Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your spa experience

How long is the Turkish Bath experience?

The complete Turkish Bath ritual takes 60 minutes, including steam, exfoliation, massage, facial mask, Jacuzzi, and relaxation time.

Is the kese exfoliation painful?

The kese scrubbing is vigorous but not painful. It may feel intense if you have sensitive skin, but our therapists adjust pressure to your comfort level. Most guests find it invigorating rather than uncomfortable.

What should I wear during the treatment?

We provide disposable undergarments for your comfort and modesty. You may also bring your own swimwear if preferred. Towels and robes are provided.

How often should I have a Turkish Bath?

For optimal skin health and relaxation benefits, we recommend a Turkish Bath every 2-4 weeks. However, even a single session provides noticeable results.

Is this bath suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our therapists adjust the exfoliation pressure and product intensity based on your skin type. Please inform us of any sensitivities before your session.

What does the oud mud do for my skin?

Oud mud is rich in minerals and natural compounds that deeply hydrate, soften, and rejuvenate the skin while leaving a subtle, luxurious fragrance.

How long does the scent of musk and oud last after the bath?

The natural scents from our premium scrubs and oud mud typically linger on the skin for several hours, offering a gentle, lasting fragrance throughout your day.

What is Ghassoul clay and why is it special?

Ghassoul (also called Rhassoul) is a mineral-rich volcanic clay from Morocco Atlas Mountains. It is been used for over 1,000 years for its unique ability to absorb impurities while delivering minerals like magnesium and silica to the skin. Unlike regular clay, it doesnt dry out skin.

How is Moroccan Bath different from Turkish Bath?

Moroccan Bath uses Ghassoul clay and black soap for deeper detoxification, includes four specialized masks instead of one, and features a longer 30-minute massage. Its 90 minutes vs. 60 for Turkish Bath, with more focus on skin purification and mineral nourishment.

Will I see immediate results?

Yes! You will notice dramatically softer, smoother skin immediately after treatment. The exfoliation is so effective that you will actually see dead skin being removed during the process. Skin will also appear brighter and feel deeply hydrated.

What makes the Royal Bath worth the premium price?

The Royal Bath is our most comprehensive treatment, offering twice the duration and treatment elements of standard services. You receive exclusive features like the private rose bath, eight specialized masks (vs. 1-4 in other treatments), and a 45-minute personalized massage. It is designed for those seeking the absolute best in wellness and luxury.

Can I customize the treatment?

Absolutely! The Royal Bath includes a pre-treatment consultation where we customize the massage techniques, pressure levels, and mask selections based on your skin type, concerns, and preferences. This personalization is part of what makes it a royal experience.

How often should I have a Royal Bath?

We recommend the Royal Bath as a monthly indulgence for optimal wellness benefits, or quarterly as a special treat. Many guests also book it for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or before important events.

Is 30 minutes enough time for a massage?

Yes! While longer massages provide more comprehensive benefits, a focused 30-minute session effectively releases tension in key stress areas (neck, shoulders, back) and provides immediate relaxation. It is perfect for regular maintenance or when time is limited.

What should I wear during the massage?

You will undress to your comfort level (typically to underwear) and be properly draped with sheets throughout the massage. Only the area being worked on is exposed. We provide a private room for changing and ensure complete modesty.

How often should I get a massage?

For stress management, we recommend weekly or bi-weekly 30-minute sessions. If you have a particularly stressful period, even 2-3 times per week is beneficial. Regular massage helps prevent tension buildup rather than just treating it.

What is the difference between this and the Relaxation Massage?

The Relaxation Massage focuses on gentle, calming strokes for overall stress relief. The Therapeutic Massage uses more targeted pressure to address specific tension, circulation issues, and muscle recovery.

Is therapeutic massage painful?

You may feel firm pressure in tense areas, but it should never be painful. Always communicate with your therapist about your comfort level — they will adjust accordingly.

How often should I get a therapeutic massage?

For chronic tension or stress, we recommend once every 2-4 weeks. For maintenance and general well-being, once a month is ideal.

Is this suitable for first-time massage clients?

Absolutely! The Signature Massage is perfect for first-timers because it is completely customizable. Your therapist will adjust techniques and pressure to your comfort level and explain everything as we go. It is our most popular choice for newcomers.

Can I request focus on specific problem areas?

Yes! While this is a full-body massage, you can absolutely request extra time on problem areas like lower back, shoulders, or neck. Just communicate this during the consultation, and your therapist will adjust the session accordingly.

How is this different from the 45-minute Deep Relax Massage?

The Signature Massage is 60 minutes and includes more comprehensive coverage of arms, hands, legs, and feet. It also allows for more customization and technique variation. The Deep Relax focuses more on back, neck, and shoulders with consistent moderate pressure, while Signature adapts pressure and techniques throughout.

Is nail care only for special occasions or should I come regularly?

Both! Many clients visit for special occasions, but regular nail care every 3-4 weeks keeps your hands and feet consistently well-maintained and healthy.

Are the tools used hygienic and safe?

Absolutely. All metal tools are sterilized after every use, and single-use items such as files are never shared between clients.

Do you offer nail polish as part of the service?

Our standard Nail Care service focuses on grooming and health. Please ask our team about available add-on options.

Is the Therapeutic Bath suitable for people with back or muscle pain?

Yes, it is specifically designed to address muscle tension and pain. However, please inform your therapist of any specific conditions so they can adjust the treatment accordingly.

Will the dry cupping leave marks?

Dry cupping can sometimes leave temporary circular marks on the skin that typically fade within a few days. These are a normal reaction and indicate improved circulation in those areas.

What are the benefits of Dead Sea minerals for the skin?

Dead Sea minerals — including magnesium, calcium, and potassium — help detoxify the skin, improve hydration, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the skin barrier, leaving it visibly smoother and healthier.

Are the stones too hot? Is it safe?

Our therapists always test the stone temperature before application. The stones are warm enough to be therapeutic but never uncomfortable. You can always request a lower temperature.

Who should avoid hot stone therapy?

Those with diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, varicose veins, open wounds, or who are pregnant should consult a doctor before booking. Please disclose all conditions to your therapist.

Can I combine hot stones with other services?

Yes. Hot Stone Therapy is already included in our Therapeutic Bath package. You can also add it as a standalone session alongside other treatments. Ask our team for details.

Is dry cupping painful?

Dry cupping should feel like a firm pulling or stretching sensation — not sharp pain. The intensity can always be adjusted to your comfort level.

What are the marks left by cupping?

The circular marks are caused by increased blood flow to the area. They are not bruises and typically fade within 3-7 days. Darker marks indicate areas of more significant stagnation.

How many sessions do I need to see results?

Many clients feel immediate relief after just one session. For chronic issues, a series of 3-6 sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart is typically recommended.
